Veda's comment to her yaya after seeing Tim Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (she has seen Willy Wonka more than a dozen times, too):
"Ang ganda ng movie. parang the same sa Willy Wonka, pero iba."
Other wickedly funny comments she's uttered recently:
"ma, i dont' have dreams anymore. Kasi my eyes are full of imagination." (which i think is her way of saying my brain is over-stimulated. Therefore she's having a hard time coming up with an original thought? is that it? Am i over reading? you bet i am hahaha)
Guest: What's the name of your teacher?
Veda: teacher Je.
Guest: Are you his favorite student?
Veda: No. Love niya kami lahat.
Me: careful Veda. Stop rocking your chair while we're at the table. You might hurt yourself.
Veda: (reproachingly) You want me to get hurt? You really want me to get hurt?
(See how she cleverly side-steps the issue. My daughter, the actress. God help us when she gets older hehehe)
