sweet deal

A British school in Southern England is offering unemployed teens a sweet deal -- summer classes for an Ipod. They must enroll and complete the 14-week "Step Up for Summer" course at Bournemouth and Pool College aimed at helping them find jobs to get ahold of the yummy-looking Ipod.

Critics say this amounts to bribery.

"To me they are offering them a bribe. It's giving the wrong message about the value of education. It tells teenagers they don't have to do anything unless they are getting a sweetener," says Nick Seaton, chairman of the Campaign for Real Education.

Me? I say "I wanna be an unemployed British teen right now." As in now na now na.
